The project is a high-end residential development located in Midtown Manhattan, rising over thirty stories with more than ten unit typologies ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layouts, as well as a penthouse on the uppermost level. It includes required recreation spaces and ground-floor commercial areas, with a total Zoning Floor Area (ZFA) of 102,456 SF and an overall height of approximately 435 feet. The exterior façade is designed using a curtain wall system.
I was responsible for the early-stage zoning analysis, the development of floor plans, and the design and refinement of residential unit layouts. I also collaborated with the team on façade modeling and contributed to completing both the Architecture Set and the Energy Set submitted to the DOB.
The project underwent more than eight months of continuous design development and refinement, during which our in-house team collaborated closely with the external design team to complete the overall scheme. Throughout this period, our team of two to four members worked across different components of the project, coordinating closely and routinely reviewing one another’s work to maintain consistency and quality.
The project presentation includes zoning, energy, RCPs, floor plans, sections, elevations, and unit types. Please review according to your needs.
